Voyage 1



I don't have all the photos I'd like to show you, but I found some of the best. I also didn't decide to use a camera for half of the road journey, so you will never get to see what I saw and like in Syracuse, NY and Sturgis, IN.

This photo is a photo of my friend, Pat Fay, and I on top of Mt. Marcy, the highest mountain in New York state at 5,343 feet. Pat and I hiked for over twelve hours to make it on top of this mountain. When we got to the top we drank some whiskey, ate dried apricots, and saw the sun set. The wind was freezing up on top: as soon as I got on top of the mountain the wind rushing over the mountain turned my sweaty hair into icicles.
